NBMBC will be celebrating its return to sailing on the new lake by holding an Open Day on Sunday 19th. September, 10am - 4pm. We hope that everyone will attend this fun day. Members of other model boating clubs are welcome to try out the new facilities.

The Mayor of Wirral and Mayoress have gracefully accepted our invitation to attend and the Mayor will formally raise the club's new flag.

As well as a static display of models and sailing on the lake there will be entertainments, competitions and raffles. RNLI New Brighton will be present with their boat, hovercraft, crew and staff. A collection also will be made for the work of the RNLI

We are pleased to announce that members of NBMBC were invited to attend the handing over of the lake from the contractors to the council. Click here for more details. We will also be listing sailing events for club members shortly.

A model was stolen today from the Toys For Boys exhibition at Old Christ Church, Waterloo Road, Waterloo. The model belongs to Mr. Denis Foster, Treasurer, NBMBC.

The scale model (3'x10" approx.) was based on the Mersey Ferry, 'Leasowe' (Image). Having only been completed recently it is a very distinctive model.

The theft has been reported to Merseyside Police. If anyone should come across this model or see it advertised for sale please report it to Merseyside Police, Crosby Police Station on 0151 709 6010, email treasurer@newbrightonmodelboatclub.com or use our Contact Form.

New Brighton Model Boat Club was formed in the early eighties with the aim of promoting and maintaining interest in scale model boats at New Brighton Model Boat Lake.

We try to be a fun club and new members are always welcome. As well as Individual membership we have a Family Membership so all the family can join.

If you are interested in becoming a member please use the Membership Form (from the links on the Main Menu) which can be printed & posted to the address on the form along with your remittance.

Please come along to the lake on a Sunday between 10.30 am & 3.00pm to have a chat with the members or use the contact form to ask any questions about the club and membership.
